Every day, I have a choice: to believe the world is for me, or against me.
What I believe feeds my mind and sets my day. Almost every day, when I wake up, I choose to believe the world is for me.
And I act accordingly.
I start my day by setting my mind on pronoia by thinking about what I am grateful for. My wife and kiddos are always first on that list. They are my big rocks and my reason for getting out of bed even when I don’t want to.
Then I focus on the smaller rocks in my life that I used to take for granted. My health. A roof over my head. A job I love, with work I love and working with people I love. I believe that all of that is working for me.
Lastly, I focus on the much smaller things I haven’t thought about for a while, that are impacting me right now, and I often share those on Facebook. I know those are for me too, though sometimes it takes a little while to understand that.
Pronoia is my preferred default state – and it helps my days be even better than ever before, when sometimes I believed in paranoia, or at least neutral.
What about you? Do you believe in pronoia?
