Stop Writing Gratitude Lists

Many Thanksgivings, I post a social media list or two of who I am thankful for.

My wife. My mom. My kiddos. My brothers. My friends. Others who mean so much to me.

This year though, I won’t be posting those Thanksgiving lists of who I am grateful for.

And I encourage you not to either.

Instead, create a greater impact in your world, for those that matter to you, and for yourself.

5 Ways To Make A Greater Impact In Your World
  1. Make plans to see those who matter most to you in person.
  2. Schedule a Zoom call for 30 minutes, and block everything else off of your calendar.
  3. Pick up the phone and call those you love.
  4. Send a video text message and say thank you.
  5. Write an actual letter.

You don’t need to tell the world who you’re grateful for. Instead, you can focus on telling the person you’re ACTUALLY grateful for your feelings, and choose the way that will impact them the most.

After all, you’re sharing your gratitude because of them, not because you’re trying to get likes, comments and shares, aren’t you?
